What is Packet Sniffing?

Today I am going to make an article on wireless hacking and cracking, as everyone wants to crack their neighbours wireless passwords. So, in this article i will show you some of the interesting steps to get any wireless network password. There are many steps for cracking a Wep password but this step would be better than others and easy. This Method is known as Packet data sniffing for this I would be using Wireshark for cracking packet sniffing. It is an act of capturing packets of a targeted network. Once you will gain access the network, you can also crack the whole privacy info of the network such as description, conversation, username, passwords. Now lets start the basics of cracking a wireless password network.

How To Crack Wireless Networks Through Packet Sniffing?

1) Download and Install Wireshark.

2) Extract and Run the program, now click on options to show the available captures interfaces.

3) Next choose the target to captures his packets and hit start.

4) If you don't know the target wait for a while it would automatically detects and will show you the most nearer packets and actives packets.

5) Now to show you an easy example of how wireshark could be used, for this will start windows live and send a message, As you can see, my whole messages are being captures, if you want to filter our the useless data simple type “msnms” in filter bar.

6) You can see my converstaion, now you get the whole emails and passwords and if they will show them in encrypted form, it doesn't matters you can right click to convert them is simple plain text.
